Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 a girl's other best friend?

So over the summer while I was visiting my husband, who was previously stationed, in Jacksonville, North Carolina I was introduced to three very great things; 1: his big screen television, 2: his Playstation 3 and 3: of course his Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 video game for Playstation 3. And all I can say now is that to a very good extent I am obsessed with this game. There wasn't much for me to do during the day in North Carolina while my husband was at work besides sleep, watch television, go on the internet and of course PLAY HIS VIDEO GAMES. And my obsession has been slowly building over the past couple of month, since May till now the end of October.

Though I love Modern Warfare 2 I'm still one of the worst players out there- I know how to aim and shoot, throw grenades and flash bangs and all that good stuff. I just need to develop my own tactics and learn the game maps then I'll be better (I'm really not that patient). Playing online I might usually get like 1-4 kills, dying like 19 times. But today, on the 27th of October I played an exceptional game, for the first time I accomplished a 5 kill streak and at the end of the game I had a good 7 kills (14 deaths). Second place on my Capture the Flag team overall. The other team of course demolished us, they had like 8 flags captured vs. our 0. And like 20 plus kills each.

But basically I love playing video games now. Before May my only experiences with video games were playing Super Mario Brothers on the old Nintendo 64, maybe two times playing Resident Evil 5 (that game scared the shit out of me) my brother in laws X-Box, I don't think we ever got past level one, and maybe once in awhile playing Donkey Kong or Street Fighter on my PSP. Let me tell you I've had my PSP since it first came out and I'm just starting to make use of it.

Now I'm playing Modern Warfare games finishing Campaigns, finding the enemy intel and playing on veteran.  Another one I loved playing over the summer was CALL OF DUTY World at War. I played the game straight through on each level and i was even finding the Death cards. Over the summer my husband and I also not quite finished the Resident Evil 5 video game, we got to the last level and never quite finished it.

Video games are exciting and fun to play. You get to run around, shoot and blow up people. And it's even more fun sometimes when you're playing it your spouse. I like to watch my husband play online just because he's so good at it. In real life he was trained to fight wars, so when he plays I get a glimpse into his mind, and how he handles situations. I just love to watch him win and I'm learning at the same time.

I'd like to play Modern Warfare 2 at the same time online as him but we'd have to get another PS3 and that's just too much work. But for the time being I'm thinking we should get some headsets for the game. So everyone can hear him yelling, "...fucking campers."
